LESSON OF THE DAY 989

Ayahs of the Day:
Say, "O my people! Work according to your ability; indeed, I am at work. And you will know who it is to whom there comes a disgracing punishment and upon whom alights an abiding agony." For We have sent you the Book for mankind, according to truth. So whoever accepts guidance does so to the benefit of his own soul, and whoever strays only strays to the detriment of his own soul. And you are not the one to dispose of their affairs. [39: 39,40,41]

Hadith of the Day:
The one who loves for the sake of Allah, hates for the sake of Allah, gives for the sake of Allah and withholds for the sake of Allah has completed his faith. [Abu Dawud]

Wise Quote of the Day:
The duration of life is but one breath. Take care that you master it and that it does not master you. [Shaykh Abu Madyan]

Guidance of the Day:
It is of the utmost importance to be an ardent worker for the force of positivity. You bless your sisters and brothers by cultivating strong and loving thoughts about them. In so doing, you serve the transformation of their lives as well as your own.

Be peaceful in your work, and Peace shall find a home in you. That which is other than Truth cannot bind you, for you have been given dominion over the world. Share not the delusion of mortality. Cease to cling to ownership of illusions, and illusions shall cease to retain the image of binding you. [Cohen, The Dragon Doesn't Live Here Anymore]

Food for Thought:
The chance of getting divorced remains so high that it makes sense for all married couples----including those who are currently satisfied with their relationship------to put extra effort into their marriage to keep them strong.
