LESSON OF THE DAY 975

Ayahs of the Day:
If God wanted to have a son, God could have chosen from creation at will. Glory to God! It is God the One, the Omnipotent, who created the skies and the earth fittingly, wrapping the night over the day and wrapping the day over the night, compelling the sun and the moon, each coursing for a definite term. Is this God not the epitome of power and forgiveness? [39: 4,5]

Hadith of the Day:
Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the most false of speech. [Bukhari & Muslim]

Wise Quote of the Day:
Islam is an Organic whole and cannot be partitioned. Giving up part of it is abandoning it all. [Fathi Yakun]

Guidance of the Day:
You have been endowed with a great and marvelous gift. Your thoughts are the key to your freedom. You who would reclaim your Divine Inheritance must do so through your thoughts, for it is only in thought that you have strayed from the path, and only through thought that you regain it. The power to change the destiny of humankind is in your hands. There is no nobler charge that is given you than that of the salvation of the world. And there is no lesser task that is worthy of your participation.

Attune your consciousness with the Good, the Beautiful, and the True. Be a light to your sisters and brothers. Your love is more powerful than any negation. Your faith can overcome all doubts. Your divinity will awaken itself in your brethren. You will certainly beautify the world, for those who know the miracle of thought know the secret of blessing. [Cohen, The Dragon Doesn't Live Here Anymore]

Food for Thought:
The heart does not feel deserted except when it disobeys its Lord. The doer of good is always at peace and the sinner is always wary and suspicious of what goes on around him. Performing virtuous deeds is the crown on the head of a happy life.
