LESSON OF THE DAY 898

Ayahs of the Day:
Haven't you seen that God makes night enter day and day enter night, and has subordinated the sun and the moon, each to run for prescribed term; and that God is fully aware of what you are doing? That is because God is the truth, and whatever else they pray to is falsehood; and because God is most high, most comprehensive. [31: 29,30]

Hadith of the Day:
The one who keeps silence is saved. [Tirmidhi]

Wise Quote of the Day:
Sell this present world of yours for the next and you will gain both in entirety, but do not sell the next world for this world, for so shall you lose the two together. [Hasan al Basri]

Guidance of the Day:
We don't need more time; we need more energy. There are twenty four hours in a day. Nobody gets more, and nobody gets less. It is probably the only way the equality we speak so much about actually exists. The differentiating factor is energy. Energy is our most valuable resource, not time. Energy is created by a sense of purpose and a life style that integrates our legitimate needs, our deepest desires, and our talents.

Our purpose is to become the-best-version-of-ourselves. The rhythm of life is the way of life that brings our needs, desires, and talents into harmony with each other. The result-------passion and energy. Life is the spending and replenishing of energy. You can't get more time, but you can have more energy. It is time to unleash the energy factor in your life. [Kelly, The Rhythm of Life]

Food for Thought:
We build our lives, one day at a time, often putting less than our best into the building. Then with a shock we realize we have to live in the house we have built. If we could do it over, we would do it much differently. But we cannot go back.
