LESSON OF THE DAY 844

Ayah of the Day:
As for those who struggle for Our sake, We will guide them in Our ways. For God is with those who do good. [29: 69]

Hadith of the Day:
Attachment to this world is the foundation of all the errors of life. [Bayhaqi]

Wise Quote of the Day:
When a thing which you ask is slow to come, know that through delay gifts are received. [Ali ibn Hussain]

Guidance of the Day:
Whatever your wealth is, share it with all you can. Discover a deep and abiding peace. The peace that comes from knowing that who you are, where you are, and what you do is essentially good and makes sense; that you are contributing to the happiness of others; and that you are progressing toward becoming the best version of yourself. The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but it is too low and we reach it. Don't let the hustle and bustle of life drag you down. Don't allow the day-to-day drudgery of life distract you from your essential purpose-----becoming the-best-version-of-yourself! Take time to dream. Imagine what you are capable of, and live that life.

You cannot live without dreams. Dreams foster hope, and hope is one of the forces by which men and women live. Life is short. Do not waste your life. Live life passionately. Somewhere deep within you there is a desire to dedicate yourself to becoming the-best-version-of-yourself. Foster that desire. Nurture that desire. Adopt habits that help you rekindle that desire. Otherwise life is in danger of becoming an utter waste. [Kelly, The Rhythm of Life]

Food for Thought:
Seek to understand, and you will be understood.
Listen, and your voice will be heard.
Show your best face to the mirror, and you will be happy with the face looking back at you.
Live in this world like a stranger, a wayfarer, and deem yourselves as dwellers of the graves. [al Hadith]
