LESSON OF THE DAY 766

Ayah of the Day:
And He is the One Who created men from water and made from them relations of blood and of marriage; for your Lord is Omnipotent. [25: 55]

Hadith of the Day:
The best of piety is to avoid that which is doubtful. [Tabarani]

Wise Quote of the Day:
Know that the hearing and sight are two open doors; whatever enters through them reaches the heart. [Imam al Haddad]

Guidance of the Day:
The clear proof of a person's love for God is if that person genuinely shows love to fellow human beings. None of us has the power to make someone love us. But we all have the power to give away love, to love other people. And if we do so, we change the kind of person we are, and we change the kind of world we live in.

Happiness is always a by-product. You don't make yourself happy by chasing happiness. You make yourself happy by being a good person. The happiest people are people who don't even think about being happy. They just think about being good neighbors, good people. And then happiness sort of sneaks in the back window while they are busy. [Handbook for the Heart]

Food for Thought:
To be peaceful and joyful, there is but one commitment to make. It is to live life, one second at a time, as if it is eternal moment. It is to make the decision, regardless of the behavior we observe, no matter where we are, nor whom we are with.
