LESSON OF THE DAY 762

Ayah of the Day:
And it is He who has made the night a garment for you, and sleep for rest; and made the day a revival. [25: 47]

Hadith of the Day:
If you could pass the day into night and the night into day with your heart clean of any feeling of enmity or vengeance against anyone, be so, for this is how I feel always. [Tirmidhi]

Wise Quote of the Day:
Health and well-being on the one hand and gluttony on the other are mutually exclusive. [Ali radi Allah anhu]

Guidance of the Day:
Each of us makes a difference
When giving, kindness, patience, and tenderness
Is the way that we pray,
When love and Forgiveness become
Our song of the day.

Each of us can make a difference
When everything we think, say, or do
Becomes a gift of Love to God.

Each of us makes a difference
When we commit ourselves
To Peace, to Love, to Happiness;
When we commit our lives to God. [Out of Darkness into the Light by Dr. Gerald G. Jampolsky]

Food for Thought:
In everything the middle road is the best; all things in excess bring trouble to men. Moderation is the inseparable companion of wisdom. To go beyond the bounds of moderation is to outrage humanity. He will always be a slave who does not know how to live upon a little.
