LESSON OF THE DAY 758

Ayah of the Day:
(Blessed is) the One to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Who has not begotten a son, and Who has no partner in the dominion, and Who created everything and determined its measure. [25: 2]

Hadith of the Day:
Shall I not inform you of something more excellent than fasting, prayer and charity? It is putting things right between people. [Abu Dawud]

Wise Quote of the Day:
The scandal monger harms three people with his tongue------himself, his listener, and his target. [Ali radi Allah anhu]

Guidance of the Day:
It is your thought alone that cause you pain.
What could you want that forgiveness cannot give?
Do you want peace? Forgiveness offers it.
Do you want happiness, a quiet mind, a certainty of purpose, and a sense of worth and beauty that transcends the world?
Do you want care and safety, and the warmth of sure protection always?
Do you want a quietness that cannot be disturbed, a gentleness that never can be hurt, a deep, abiding comfort, and a rest so perfect it can never be upset?
All this forgiveness offers you. [Out of Darkness into the Light]

Food for Thought:
If you pursue happiness, it will elude you. But, if you focus on your family, your friends, the needs of others, your work and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you.
