Hadith of the Day:
The richest person in the world who had been destined to hell will be brought up on the Day of judgment will be dipped once in the Fire of Hell and then asked: "O son of Adam! Did you ever see any good, did you ever have any bliss?' He will say: "By Allah! Never, O' Sustainer." Then the one who was worst hit with adversity in the world, and was destined to Paradise, will be brought up and given one dip (in the spring of) Paradise, and then asked: "O son of Adam! Did you ever face any adversity; did you ever have any hardship? He will say: "By Allah! I never experienced any adversity; I never passed through any hardship'. [Muslim]

Guidance of the Day:
Many passages of the Quran encourage or command humanity to remember God as often as possible. The Quran says that in the Messenger of Allah we have an excellent model. The people who benefit most from this model are those who engage in remembrance frequently, which was the way of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
Purification comes about as a result of the spiritual work that God the Exalted has graciously blessed humanity with, and remembrance plays a major role in that. Remembrance (dhikr)is a practice that is validated only by the performance of the obligatory rites of worship, including Prayer (Salat). Whoever guards and is vigilant in his Prayer, he has guarded his religion. And whoever is negligent about his Prayer, he will neglect matters of lesser importance. [Purification of the Heart]
Food for Thought:
Whatever act of goodness you are able to do, you must do. Mind the affairs of the Hereafter by taking from this temporary home to the eternal one.
